"Cosmoses’ album, Ascension, is a mind-bending journey to the heart of an EDM supernova. Kinda-sorta rooted in dubstep, the project defies simple categorization. Aggressive and pulse-raising one minute, sweet and introspective the next. Flashes of ambient, house and trap styles drift in and out of lush synth soundscapes without letting the listener ever get comfortable enough to slap an easy genre label on the work.
