Fresh from the studio, Identity is a brand new collection of songs produced by the artists of BAVC's BUMP Records and Horizons' The DJ Project.

This collaborative work by two of the Bay Area's finest youth music production programs was born out of a creative cross-pollination. Throughout the summer, artists from Oakland and San Francisco have been coming together to trade beats, lyrics, sounds and ideas. The resulting collection of material was written and produced around the concept of working to establish one's self-identity in a complex world full of mixed messages.

Crossing genres and breaking down musical barriers, songs on Identity range from the delicate indie-folk of "Even" to the ambient dreamscape of "No Sound" to the high energy bounce of "Keep Your Mind on Your Task". Fans of any musical style are sure to find something here they can identify with.

Accepted students produce their own album with guidance of professional staff.
