First Project is the debut recording from His True Vine (aka brothers Josh and Caleb Lino). Already an accomplished guitarist coming into BUMP, Josh had been waiting for the opportunity to get into a studio and lay down the fully-formed songs that had been accumulating in his head. Heavy and symphonic in scope, FP is also melodic and deeply spiritual in its message. Lush layers of guitar melodies wrap around vocals that shift between aching softness and full-bore metallic roaring. Both tension and release, this album is nothing short of a totally realized, masterfully executed musical epic.
